What is an NFC business card?
A physical card with an NFC chip containing your profile link. On a compatible phone, hold the card nearby and tap the notification. The profile opens in the browser, without a DigiCart app. The visitor then chooses whether to save the contact.
Does the card work with both iPhone and Android?
Yes, with a compatible phone. Background NFC reading is available on iPhone XS/XR and compatible newer models, with the screen on and after the first unlock following a restart. On Android, the phone must support NFC and NFC must be enabled. Use the QR code if NFC reading is unavailable. No DigiCart app is required.
Can I update my information after ordering?
Yes, at any time. Simply log in to your online dashboard and update your contact details, photo, links and business hours. The physical card stays the same, and your profile updates instantly.
What happens if I get a new phone?
The profile stays the same: the chip is in the physical card. Use an NFC-compatible phone, or open the profile with its QR code or link. Update your new number in your customer area.
How long does the card last?
The NFC chip is passive: no battery, no charging. It keeps working for years. Our metal and wooden cards are built to last.
Where is my data hosted?
DigiCart is a Swiss company, subject to the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP). Technical hosting is provided by Hostinger (data centre in Europe). Your contacts are never sold, and your card is not indexed by search engines.
How much does a DigiCart card cost?
From CHF 29.– (Essential UV plastic) to CHF 100.– (gold metal), VAT included. Automatic discounts: 10% for 5 or more cards, 20% for 16 or more. Essential is already discounted and does not stack with these.
How long does delivery take?
Every card is custom-personalised in Switzerland. Allow 5 to 10 business days after payment is received, delivery across Switzerland included.
How does payment work?
Online, at checkout: card, TWINT, Apple Pay or Google Pay, via Stripe. Payment is immediate and secure, and production starts as soon as it is confirmed.
What if I'm ordering for my whole team?
Each team member gets their own card and their own digital profile. Volume discounts apply automatically. Email us at [email protected] for a unified team design. The manager then handles the whole team from a single account.
How is it different from a paper business card?
A paper card is fixed and often ends up in the bin. The DigiCart NFC card is a single, durable object: your contact saves your details straight to their phone, and your digital profile stays editable for life (number, job title, links) without ever reprinting.
Is a subscription required?
No. You pay once, VAT included. No recurring fee: the digital profile stays live and editable, analytics included, with no subscription.
Can I get a card without the DigiCart logo?
Yes. From UV Plastic at CHF 59, no DigiCart mention appears on the card: it carries your brand, not ours. Only the Essential entry level at CHF 29 carries the DIGICART.CH logo on the back, which is what explains its price.
Can I get a quote before ordering?
Yes. The « Get a quote » button sends you a priced quote by e-mail, valid 30 days, with no commitment and no payment request.
